Sword Upgrades are a way to upgrade Swords, as well as to change the appearance of the hilt by crafting them with either Gold, Diamonds, Emeralds, Lapis Lazuli or Rubies(Would need to be reimplemented). Only one material can be crafted with a sword at a time. Swords with Upgrades can still be enchanted.

1 Wood/Stone/Iron/Diamond Sword + 1 Gold/Diamond/Emerald/Lapis Lazuli/Ruby => 1 Upgraded Sword Can be in any order
Upgrades per Material[]
- Gold - Increases knockback by 15%
- Diamond - Increases durability by 500
- Emerald - Increases chance of dropping rare loot by 5%
- Ruby - Increases dealt damage by 1 point (1/2 a heart)
- Lapis Lazuli - Increases weapon speed by 5%(PC Edition only)
